It’s a deep penetrating bituminous solution for stabilising dusty and porous surfaces prior to the application of IKO roofing systems. Key Features Fast-dryingDrying time approximately 30 minutes at 20 degreeNo residual tackMay be applied to many substrates including concrete, brickwork, zinc, metal, and existing bitumen roofing. Application Application temperature should be between 3 and 27°C ready for use. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dirt and loose material. Smooth metal surfaces, where necessary, should be prepared with a wire brush.If moss or lichen is present this must be removed and the surface treated with IKOpro Algae and Fungi Remover applied in accordance with its application instructions before proceeding.Apply IKOpro Quick Dry Bitumen Primer in one coat with a brush, roller or airless spray gun. Apply a thin even coating, brushing well into the surface. Do not allow material to pool or collect in depressions.Allow drying thoroughly before proceeding with the application of other bitumen products. Drying times may be extended in low temperatures. Safety Use only in well-ventilated areas, or with respiratory apparatus, away from all sources of ignition.
